PISTON VALVE
When installing the spring seat

, pay attention to the direction
of it.
Install the piston valve into the carburetor body and make sure
that the indent

on the piston valve faces towards the air cleaner.
REASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
Reassemble and remount the carburetors in the reverse order of
removal and disassembly. Pay attention to the following points:
PILOT SCREW
After cleaning, reinstall the pilot screw to the original setting by
turning the screw in until it lightly seats, and then backing it out
the same number of turns counted during disassembly.

Replace the O-ring with a new one.
THROTTLE VALVE
Turn the throttle stop screw and throttle valve synchronizing screw
until the throttle valve’s bottom end

is aligned with the fore-
most by-pass port

as shown.
Apply a small quantity of THREAD LOCK “1342” to the throttle
valve mounting screws and tighten them.
