TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE

Page 8

7.0 PROGRAMMING TRANSMITTERS

When entering the

transmitter

programming mode,

all

 transmitters

(maximum of three) required to operate
the system must be programmed at the
same time.
The unit has been designed this way for
the security of the user, so that should a
transmitter be lost, it will be erased from
memory when programming a new
transmitter and/or reprogramming the
remaining transmitters.

With at least one functional transmitter

  Ensure a door is open.

  Remove key from ignition.

  Momentarily press the black button

on the transmitter until three
indicator flashes are received. This
indicates the system has disarmed.

Within 20 seconds of unlocking, insert
key in ignition, turn the ignition key from
the “ACC” position to the "ON" position
20 times, leaving the key in the “OFF”
position after the twentieth turn

The vehicle’s indicators will flash 20
times to indicate successful entry.

On the twentieth flash of the
indicators, press the button once on
each transmitter.

Once finished, turn the ignition key
to the "ON" position to lock in and
exit from the programming mode.

If you have no functional transmitters

Ensure vehicle audio PIN number
is known or audio PIN security
system is deactivated prior to
battery disconnection.

Ensure the LED is flashing.

Ensure a door is open.

Disconnect the negative battery
cable, wait a minimum of 5
seconds then reconnect.

Perform the “Manual Override”
procedure that follows:

Note:

During this procedure the horn will

sound (only if alarm is programmed ON)
ignore this and continue the procedure.

Using the ignition key, turn the
ignition switch to the “ON” position.

Note:

When the

ignition is turned ON the

system will emit five chirps and the
indicators flash five times.

The LED will turn on, then turn off/on

every five seconds. This indicates
that the system has now entered the
30 minute override mode. At the end
of the 30 minutes the horn will chirp
three times and the indicators will
flash three times to indicate the
system has disarmed.

Within 20 seconds of the system

disarming, turn the key in ignition
from the “ACC” position to the “ON”
position 20 times, leaving the key in
the “OFF” position after the twentieth
turn.

The vehicle’s indicators will flash 20

times to indicate successful entry.

On the twentieth flash of the

indicators, press the black button
once on each transmitter.

Turn the ignition key to the “ON”

position to lock in and exit from the
programming mode.

If unsuccessful, repeat the above steps.
