Audio Settings

The audio settings, under

Video & Audio> Audio Settings

, contain

parameters dealing with audio coming from the cameras built in mic, or an

external microphone.



Mute

- Selects whether or not to mute the incoming audio from the

camera.



Audio In

Selects the source for the camera audio feed.

Line In,

external source connected to the camera's line-in port, is the only

option.



Audio Codec

– G.711 U-law, G.711 A-law, and ADPCM are methods for

digitally encoding audio signals. Only one bit rate, 32 Kbps, is

currently supported. Audio will be encoded at this bit rate.
