SILICONE BELT DISCLAIMER
Note: All Surekap belts and tightening discs are considered wear parts and as such are excluded
from warranty coverage.
Please be advised that your machine may be equipped with the Silicone Gripper Belt option.
There are pros and cons with this option.
These belts allow the machine to better handle soft sided bottles through their high friction
surface and foam backing by applying less pressure to the bottle.
However, the foam backing will not stand up to high stress usually encountered with a bottle
jam, therefore causing de-lamination and requiring a replacement. This is likely to be required
more frequently than with our standard belts.
TIGHTENING DISCS AND GRIPPER BELTS

Over the years, for different reasons, the tightening discs sent to you from SUREKAP have
had and will continue to have varying outside diameters. The replacement discs you receive
could be larger or smaller than the discs currently on your capper.


Discs being used on your machine will wear differently. On a left to right feed capper, the
front discs will normally wear faster than the rear discs.


For these two reasons, WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU CHANGE THE DISCS IN
PAIRS . These pairs should be out of the same shipment of replacement discs.


The thickness of the rubber section of your gripper belts varies also. WE RECOMMEND
THAT YOU CHANGE THE BELTS IN PAIRS. These pairs should be out of the same
shipment of replacement belts.


Due to the cost of the replacement gripper belts, changing only one might be appropriate. If
so, please verify that belt thickness is similar.
