Installing a CPU Heatsink
Note: in single and dual-CPU confi gurations, memory must be installed in the DIMM
slots associated with the installed CPU(s). Memory is limited to a maximum of 64
for single CPU and 128 GB for dual CPU confi gurations.
Use the following procedure for installing the
SNK-P0024AP4 active heatsink.
Installing the CPU Heatsink
Do not apply any thermal grease to 1.
the heatsink or the CPU die because
the required amount has already been
pre-applied.
Pre-attach the base plate and insulation 2.

Place the heatsink directly on top of the 3.

the chassis and the mounting holes are
