Note: The Enhanced mode is supported by the Windows

When the SATA Controller Mode is set to Enhanced, the following items will dis-

play:

Serial ATA (SATA) RAID Enable

Select Enable to enable Serial ATA RAID Functions. (For the Windows OS environ-

ment, use the RAID driver if this feature is set to Enabled. When this item is set to

Enabled, the item: "ICH RAID Code Base" will be available for you to use the Intel

or Adaptec Host RAID fi rmware. If this item is set to

Disabled, the item-SATA AHCI

Enable will be available.) The options are Enabled and

Disabled

ICH RAID Code Base

Select Intel to enable the Intel SATA RAID utility. Select Adaptec to use the Adaptec

HostRAID utility. The options are
