High Precision Event Time
Select Yes to activate the High Precision Event Timer (HPET), which is capable of
producing periodic interrupts at a much higher frequency than a Real-time Clock
(RTC) in synchronizing multimedia streams, providing smooth playback and reduc-
ing the dependency on other timestamp calculation devices in a CPU. The HPET is
used to replace the 8254 Programmable Interval Timer. The default setting is

Power Button Behavior

Resume On Modem Ring
Select On to "wake your system up” when an incoming call is received by your

Power Loss Control
This setting allows you to decide how the system will react when power returns after
an unexpected loss of power. The default setting is

Select Enabled to enable Legacy USB Support. The default setting is

Set to Enabled to automatically reset the system if it is not active for more than a
predefined time period. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
