Overview of the Processor Socket Assembly
The processor socket assembly contain the following:
1) The Intel Xeon Scalable-SP and 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable-SP processor (See the
notes below), 2) the narrow processor clip, 3) the dust cover, and 4) the CPU socket.

:

Be sure to cover the CPU socket with the dust cover when the CPU is not
installed.
2.
Please use the non-F model processors on this motherboard.
