4.3 Ports
Serial Ports
There are two serial (COM) port headers on the motherboard. Both ports are located next to
expansion Slot #1 (PCI 33MHz).
Rear I/O Ports
See the figure below for the locations and descriptions of the various I/O ports on the rear
of the motherboard.
SATA Ports
The X11SAE includes a total of eight SATA 3.0 ports. I-SATA0-7 are supported by the Intel
C236 Express PCH chip. These SATA ports support RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10.
