4.2 Headers and Connectors
Fan Headers
There are five fan headers on the motherboard. These are 4-pin fan headers; pins 1-3 are
backward compatible with traditional 3-pin fans. The onboard fan speeds are controlled by
Thermal Management. The use of 4-pin fans is recommended to use fan speed control.

Processor Power Connector
JPW2 must also be connected to the power supply. This connector is used to power the
processor.
