Watch Dog is a system monitor that

takes action when a software appli-

cation freezes the system. Pins 1-2

will have WD reset the system if a

program freezes. Pins 2-3 will gener-

ate a non-maskable interrupt for the

p r o g r a m t h a t h a s f r o z e n ( r e q u i r e s

software implementation). See the

table on the right for jumper settings.

Watch Dog must also be enabled in

BIOS.
