SAFETY DEVICE
High Temperature Limit Switch
The high temperature limit switch is located in
-
side the upper right hand corner of the firebox.
This feature will prevent the fireplace from
operating at abnormally high temperatures.
The burner will automatically turn off without
interrupting the pilot flame; the limit switch will
lock out and must be reset manually. To reset
the limit switch:
1. Turn off the burner by turning the gas con
-
trol knob clockwise to the off position.
2. Remove limit switch plate by removing
two screws.
3. Carefully pull limit plate out and press the
reset button.
4. Mount limit switch plate back using two
screws previously removed.
5. Re-light the burner following instructions
on page 12.
