The marks are engraved on the standard mounting bracket so as to adjust the direction of
this sensor by 30 degrees. Set and fix both emitter and receiver using the marks so that
they face to each other.

’ for details of the beam-axis alignment.
3. Set the device with its mounting hole on the side just overlapping with the mounting hole
of the standard mounting bracket, and fix the standard mounting bracket with the acces-
sory hexagon-socket head bolt [M5 (length: 16mm)].
The tightening torque should be 1.2N
㨯
m or less.
4. Set the standard mounting bracket (
MS-SFB-1
) that is ready for setting to the mounting
surface using either four hexagon-socket head bolts [M5 (please arrange separately)] or
two hexagon-socket head bolts [M8 (please arrange separately)].
Note: For the models that the intermediate supporting bracket (
MS-SFB-2
) is enclosed with, be sure to use the
intermediate supporting bracket (
MS-SFB-2
