5) Adjusting the looper and spreader height

A. Adjusting the looper height

ⓐ

When the looper jig is placed on the LS holder bracket, please check the followings:

- The looper jig drill hole

should be at the upper right side.

- The end of the left looper should be below the edge

③

of the looper jig.

- The end of the right looper should be below the edge

④

of the looper jig.

- The ends of the looper should be adjusted to be near the looper jig.

Remove the spreaders

, the spreader stoppers

, the throat plate

, and the upper trimmer blade bracket

from he looper base.

- Turn the hand pulley to move the needle bar to the highest position.

- Place the gauge 2 on the LS holder bracket.

Loosen the looper tightening screw

to adjust the looper height and fasten the looper tightening screw.

B. Adjusting the spreader height

Make adjustments to ensure that the spreader(left)
