Empulse F55 Rev.E
DANGER!
• Make sure that the quick-release bracket is fully closed
and the handlebar cannot be rotated.
• Make sure that the control lever on the stem is firmly
clamped and that the slider is clicked into place.
• Make sure to route and secure all cables properly.
Make sure not to bend or stretch cables. If necessary,
use zip-ties to fasten cables.
Adjusting the steering damper
In order to stabilise the steering and directional stability of
the pulling device at higher speeds, the Empulse F55 has
an integrated steering damper.
The damping effect can be infinitely adjusted using the
clamp screws on the steering head.
• Keep rotating the handlebar
to the left stop
• Tighten both Allen screws
(C) evenly (stronger
damping) or loosen (less
damping)
• At the factory, a torque of 2
Nm will be used
DANGER!
• If the torque of the screws (C) on the steering head is
too high, this can affect how easy it is to steer the
pulling device.
• If the torque is too low, the steering may be unstable at
higher speeds.
Adjusting the handlebar position
The position of the handlebar can be adjusted in several
ways:
a) Height of the handle bar:
the height of the
handlebar can be
adjusted by undoing the
quick-release bracket on
the frame. The
handlebar together with
the steering tube can
now be moved up and
down. After the
adjustment, the quick-
release bracket must be
closed.
b) Position of the handlebar: the angle of the stem can
be changed. To do this, push the grey slider (A)
against the direction of travel until the control lever (B)
can be flipped up. You can now move the stem to the
angle you require (infinitely adjustable). Once the
adjustment is complete, the control lever must be
closed completely until you hear the slider (A) click
into place.
