Prior to installing assembly into the diffuser, construct a ring of solder wire and place it in the diffuser bowl
about 1.0” (25mm) in from the outside diameter of the blade.  Lower the bearing box assembly into the
diffuser/pump case.  Tighten the assembly to 50% of the torque value with a minimum of four studs.
Remove bearing box assembly and the solder wire ring.  Measure the compressed thickness in several
places.  Use the lowest reading.
