Moving the LMV-803Lr

Moving (OH5 Configuration) 

The following procedures apply to the direct drive (OH5) configuration of the LMv-803Lr. Where indicated, 
separate instructions for the extended shaft motor and bearing box configurations are called out. 

1.01  Remove the (6) seal housing nuts located 

closest to the inlet and discharge as shown 
below. Place two lifting brackets over each 
of the studs (each bracket is unique, and 
must go on the correct side). Correct 
locations will have the brackets parallel to 
the pump case flange faces. Bolt the lifting 
brackets to the seal housing using the (6) 
seal housing nuts finger tight. DO NOT 
TORQUE THE LIFTING BRACKET NUTS 
YET.  

Note:

 Lifting Brackets are included with the 

OH5 (Direct Drive) units.  Brackets 
are not required with OH3 (Bearing 
Box) configurations. 

NOTE:

  Motor / Bearing Box / Cartridge Seal 

not shown for clarity. 

1.02  Install the Lifting Hanger using (2) 

bolts/nuts per side. Tighten each size.  

With the Lifting Hanger securely bolted to 
the Lifting Brackets, tighten the Lifting 
Bracket nuts onto the pump case studs. 

NOTE:
