 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS (continued)

CO

2

cylinders contain high-pressure compressed gas which can be hazardous if not handled properly.

Make sure to read this section and understand the following procedures:

Always connect the CO

2

cylinder to a regulator.  Failure to do so may result in explosion with

possible death or injury when the cylinder valve is opened.
Never connect the CO

2

cylinder directly to the product container.

Always follow correct procedures when cylinders are changed.
Always secure the cylinder in an upright position.
Never drop or throw a CO

2

 cylinder.

Always keep CO

2

cylinders away from heat.  Store extra cylinders in a cool place.  Securely fasten

with a chain in an upright position.
Always ventilate and leave the area immediately if CO

2

 leakage has occurred.

Always check the D.O.T. test date on the cylinder neck before installation.  If over

fi

 ve years old, do

not use; return cylinder to gas supplier.
Never connect a product container unless there are two safeties in the pressure system: one at or on
the CO

2

regulator and one at or on the product coupler on in the pressure gas line.

 GAS CAN BE DANGEROUS

INSTALLATION

Before connecting the beer dispenser, let the unit sit upright for approximately 2 hours.  This will
reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling during transportation.
Clean the interior surface with warm water and a clean cloth.
This appliance is designed to be free-standing only and should not be recessed or built-in.
Place your beer dispenser on a

fl

oor that is strong enough to support the unit when fully loaded.

Allow three inches of space between the back and sides of the beer dispenser to allow proper air
circulation for the compressor to cool.
Keep the beer dispenser away from direct sunlight and heat sources.  Direct sunlight may affect
the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consumption.  Extremely cold ambient
temperatures may also cause the unit to preform poorly.
Keep the unit out of moist areas.
Plug the unit into an exclusive, properly installed, grounded wall outlet.  Do not, under any
circumstances, cut or remove the third prong from the power cord.
After plugging in the unit, allow it to cool down for 2-3 hours before placing any contents in the
compartment.
