6. Become superuser. Create a device file for your second frame buffer as

shown in the following example. (The second frame buffer is assumed to
be cgsix1.)

This creates a device file for the second frame buffer.

7. Verify the newly created file by typing:

The system will display a message similar to the following message
indicating that the device file has been successfully created:

8. Exit the superuser mode.

9. Start the SunView environment using the

sunview

 command and specify

the second frame buffer with the

-d

 command-line option. For example:
