Connecting an Expansion Cabinet
If you purchased a Sun StorEdge 6920 system with an expansion cabinet, the
following sections describe how to connect the expansion cabinet to the base cabinet:

Caution –
You must connect the expansion cabinet before connecting power to the
base cabinet.
Connecting the Fibre Channel Cables
The base cabinet’s service panel has two I/O panels with redundant Fibre Channel
(FC) ports to connect to the expansion cabinet (

service panel has a single panel with redundant FC ports (
