6. To install the software, type:

During installation, you may be asked a number of questions. Answer

to all of

these questions.

7. Reboot the system to complete the installation.

Installing PGX32 Software From FTP Files

To complete an installation from FTP files, you must first obtain the packages from
Sun. Contact SunService for the correct packages and the site where the packages are
located.

Follow the directions in the README file that is included with the downloaded file
for proper installation.

New Devices

A new device name is created in the

/dev/fbs

directory for the PGX32. The device

name is

gfxp

# or

pgxp

#, where # is the instance number assigned by the operating

system.

# mount -F hsfs -O -o ro /dev/dsk/c0t6d0s0 /cdrom

# cd /cdrom

# ./install_all
