Gournd fault detector
If a ground fault detector (FI) is used, this short
should
be done.
•
There is capacitive splitter on both output and input of the inverter. This mean
that half the output voltage is present between any output wire (blue or Braun)
and the earth wire (Yellow/green).
•
If a “real neutral” is needed; you have to make a short between the blue wire and
the yellow/green wire. This point can also be tied to ground if there is an existing
ground.
•
Every ground point of appliances or plug should be tied together.
•
One side
or
the other of plus or minus battery input could also be tied to ground
if needed.
•
A “real neutral is an absolute need if there is a FI ground fault detector used as
safety device.
In any case, he installation of an inverter should follow the specific rules in force in
the country of installation.
STUDER SOLARTECHNIK do not
t
assume any responsibility for damages, costs or losses arising
from using STUDER inverters, or in any way resulting from an installation which is not in
accordance with the in force regulations or for an inappropriate use of the inverter.
Optional.(depend on national regulation)
