5.

The pressure vessel air pre-charge does not require routine maintenance.  Should 
ever the need arise for the vessel to have its air pre-charge checked or replenished, it
should be carried out as follows: -
a)

Isolate pump electrically.

b)

Isolate hot and cold water supplies via the integral pump isolating valve located in
the flexible hoses (see pump connections section).

c)

Release system water pressure by opening a system outlet (tap).

d)

Check air pre-charge at Schrader valve (Fig. 16) using a tyre pressure gauge.
