Cleaning
Dust deposits on the housing of the GTES are irrelevant in terms of the function. The dust can be removed dur-
ing maintenance of the machine with a dry cloth.
NOTICE
Damage to the GTES caused by cleaning agents/solvents
Contact with cleaning agents or solvents may lead to damage.
► Any contact with cleaning agents or solvents must be avoided.
NOTICE
Damage to the GTES due to contamination
Dust deposits on the GTES must not be removed with compressed air.
By cleaning with compressed air, dust can enter the contact and the gear, and affect the switching
capacity.
► Never hold a compressed air jet in an open housing.
► Only use dry cloths for cleaning.
NOTE
The seals of the cover must be replaced as necessary after repeated opening of the cover.
