The plunger forces the sewn material from underneathinto the needle plate 
opening, so that the needle can penetrate the sewing material.

Removing the plunger (Fig. 7)

Switch off the machine electrically! 

 

 

1. 

Remove needle plate, see point "Removing the needle plate". 

2. 

Unscrew plunger set screw (3) and screw (2). 

3. 

Pull plunger up and out.
