5.10 Malfunctions / error messages and
troubleshooting

Engine does not run; engine
does not start up: Key switch not switched on Turn key switch and check cor-

Hood contactor not actuated Check the fit of the main panel-
ling.
Fault in electrical wiring Check plug connections
fuel tank empty refill fuel
Sweeping result unsatisfactory: Side brush(es) or main sweeping
rollers not lowered Lower
Side brush(es) or main sweeping
rollers worn Adjust
Trajectory clogged by dirt Sweep-
ing roller(s) do not operat Check if roller trim panel is im-
paired by jammed debris. Cor-
rectly fitted? Does motor revolve?
Dust formation too great if required switch off side brushes
Filter heavily polluted Open the ventilation flap
Filter not correctly fitted Clean filter
Leakage and subsequent aspira-
tion of false air in the filter cham-
ber mer check for tight fit
check if false air is sucked in
Brush rollers are jammed by dirt,
cords, strings or the like Dismount brush rollers and clean
them
