The following STIHL attachment may be
mounted to the basic power tool:
STIHL Electric Starter
The power tool is equipped with the
STIHL electric starter for convenient
starts.
The STIHL electric starter consists of the
following main parts:
– Rechargeable battery, integrated in
control unit
– Starter mechanism with starter
motor and starter gear
– Slide control and starter switch
The battery supplies the starter motor
with the power necessary to start the
engine.
The battery is recharged while the power
tool is running – the power tool is always
ready to start.
The battery cannot be replaced – it is
integrated in the control unit.
Store the power tool at a temperature
between 10°C and 25°C. If the power
tool is stored at temperatures below 5°C
it may cool down to a point where a start
is inhibited to protect the battery.
Non-metal grass cutting blades
and brush knives are not
approved.
