Retighten wing nut clockwise.

Start the engine.

Start the cut at half throttle and
continue cutting at full throttle.

Hold and guide the unit so that it is

Cut at a rate which suits the cutting
performance of the blade – do not
apply force!

Set the cutting rate for a normal
walking pace.

Do not push the blade into the
ground.

Always push the edger forwards –
never pull it.

Cut at a steady pace to avoid having
to make several passes.
