9.
Fit former F8 through the notches on the edges of the central fuselage crutch (part F7) just
behind
the receiver clip, ensure that F8c rests snugly against F7. Make sure that the
top
of
the F8 assembly (F8a) is on the same side as the tabs on the
tops
of the other formers.
10.
Assemble former F9 from parts F9a and F9b (sheet 03/10, 1/20 in. balsa) with the etched
side of both parts facing
up
. Bond with CA.
11.
Fit former F9 to the tabs at the
rear
of F7. Orient F9 so that the
top
is on the same side of
the assembly as the
top
of F8.
12.
Fuselage Sides –
Assemble the
left
fuselage side F10 from parts F10a (sheet 02/10, 1/20
in. balsa) F10b, F10c and F10d (sheet 03/10, 1/20 in. balsa). Bond with CA.
13.
Fit fuselage assembly F10 to the
left
side of the central fuselage crutch. Wrap F10a around
the
front
of the fuselage. “Tack glue” to the central fuselage crutch assembly.
14.
Repeat step 12 to assemble the
right
fuselage side. Use parts F11a (sheet 2/10, 1/20 in.
balsa) through F11d (sheet 04/10, 1/20 in. balsa). Bond with CA. Fit the completed
fuselage side to the
right
side of the central fuselage crutch, and “tack glue” in place.
Square the fuselage on the work surface, and “final bond” with CA.
15.
Fuselage Rear –
Fit and “tack glue” former F12 (sheet 03/10, 1/20 in. balsa) into the slots
in the fuselages sides
behind
former F9.
