Paint the pylon with a light-weight, lacquer-based paint. We recommend using Design
Master Color Tool, available at most arts and crafts stores.
Pro Builder Tip:
After painting the wing pylon the desired color, spray it with a coat of Deft
semi-gloss or gloss clear lacquer

Cover the fuselage, leaving the
bottom
uncovered behind the radio compartment.
Cover the
rear
of the fuselage from the
front
of the push rod exit slots to the
rear
of the
fuselage.
Leave the front half of the opening in F17b, and the entire opening in F17a
uncovered
.
Push Rods
58.
Push Rod and Receiver Installation:
Slit the covering over the
rear
portion of the
right
push rod exit slot on the
bottom
of the fuselage. Feed a .015 in. x 12 in. length of push rod
wire into the push rod exit slot and through the hole on the
right
side of the
bottom
of former
F12. Refer to the detail drawing of the fuselage on the plan set. Feed the wire through the
inner-right
hole in former F5, and into the radio compartment.

Slit the covering over the
rear
portion of the push rod exit slot on the
left
side of the
fuselage. Feed a .015 in. x 12 in. length of push rod wire into the slot and through the hole
on the
l
eft
edge
of former F12. Refer to the detail drawing of the fuselage on the plan set.
Feed the wire through the
outer-left
hole in former F5, and into the radio compartment.
