1. Turn off the power to the circuit under test. Discharge all high-voltage
capacitors.
2. Connect the red lead to the

hFEmA TEMP

terminal for a maximum of

200 mA and “10 A” for up to 10 A; and black to

COM

terminal.

3. Turn the knob to the “

- - -

A” function.

4. Break the circuit path to be measured. Connect the black wire to the
more negative side of which broke the circuit and the red to the positive
side. (Reverse cables will give you a negative reading.)
5. Turn on the power to the circuit under test and see the measurement.
If a “1” is in display, this indicates an over range, select a higher range.
