22 - NG to LP CONVERSION KIT INSTRUCTIONS
Follow the instructions included with the gas valve stepper motor conversion kit.
1. Adjust the shutter to the fully closed position by turning the shutter adjustment screw counter-clockwise as far as it will
go.
2. Re-install the burner by guiding the burner neck into the shutter and sliding it back into place.
3. Adjust the shutter to the fully open position by turning the shutter adjustment screw 30 times in the clockwise direction.
4. Re-attach the pilot to the burner with two screws. Light the pilot by pressing the bottom button on the remote and
pressing the up arrow to select “CPI” (Constant Pilot Ignition). Check for leaks at the pilot nut with a soapy leak-check
solution.
5. Light the burner, check for leaks at all connections with a soapy leak-check solution, whether field or factory made.
6. Test inlet pressure. See Figure 23E.
7. Turn the fireplace OFF.
8. Re-attach the air dam around the burner.
9. Re-attach the log platform to the back wall. Replace the pilot shield.
10. Affix gas type sticker to existing label.
11. Re-install the logs, ember chunks, and grate from the insert. Follow the log placement instructions in the manual.

12. Re-install the glass front following the instructions in the manual. Refer to Section 11.
13. Re-install the firebox floor, optional Liner Kit (if applicable), grate and log set. Refer to Section 12.
14. Re-install the surround and decorative front. Refer to Section 9.
15. Light the fireplace and observe the flames. Adjust the air shutter if necessary.

1. Remove existing orifice and replace with orifice included with kit.
Tighten securely -
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
