8.1- ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
The lasting efficiency of the machine is directly linked with the frequency
of maintenance operations.
It is sufficient to clean the inside of the machine, which must be done all
the more frequently the dustier the work environment.
8.2- CLEANING THE INSIDE OF THE
MACHINE
Before cleaning the inside of the machine it is obligatory to follow the
warnings described above and to proceed as follows:
1-
Remove the
casing
(FIG. 2-Ref. 4)
slackening the
side screws;
2-
Remove all traces of dust from the internal parts of the machine by
means of a jet of compressed air at a pressure no higher than 3 Kg/
cm
2
;
3-
Visually check all the
electrical connections
, ensuring that the
screws and nuts
are well secured;
IT IS OBLIGATORY TO REMOVE THE PLUG FROM THE POWER
SOCKET BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY MAINTENANCE WORK
ON THE MACHINE.
THE ELECTROLYTIC CONDENSERS INSTALLED INSIDE THE
MACHINE REMAIN LIVE EVEN AFTER THE PLUG HAS BEEN
REMOVED FROM THE POWER SOCKET. IT IS OBLIGATORY TO
WAIT AT LEAST 5 MINUTES BEFORE REMOVING THE CASING
AND GAINING ACCESS TO THE INSIDE.
BEFORE INSPECTING OR CHANGING PARTS OF THE TORCH,
SWITCH OFF THE POWER SUPPLY TO THE THOR.
IN NO CASE MUST MAINTENANCE WORK BE DONE WITHOUT
HAVING FIRST DISCONNECTED THE POWER SOURCE.
THE GREATEST CARE MUST BE TAKEN WHEN CHECKING THE
INSIDE OF THE MACHINE, DUE TO THE PRESENCE OF
DANGEROUS VOLTAGE.

6.2- DISPOSITIFS DE PROTECTION ADOP-
TÉS
Le THOR a été projeté avec des protections qui désactivent le
générateur quand le capuchon de retenue de la torche est enlevé;
quand le capuchon a été remis, il faut remettre à zéro la machine pour
poursuivre le travail.
Ne jamais désactiver les dispositifs de sécurité.
Utiliser exclusivement les pièces de rechange STEL. Tout dommage
dérivant de l’emploi de pièces de rechange différentes, est exclu de la
garantie STEL.
