All electrical installations should

Connection of the building power to the Base
Power-In harness
1.
The electrician first locates the building interface and determines
the appropriate harness length. The electrician will cut the harness to
length leaving enough wire for the building interface.
2.
The electrician makes the wiring connections and secures a face
plate to the junction box.
3.
Do not proceed until the harness is disconnected from the power
module. The electrician makes the hardwired connections to the
building interface per the local electrical code, then checks the in-feed
harness for continuity. If the continuity is good, the electrician secures
a face plate to the junction box and connects the in-feed harness to
the power module.
4.
The electrician checks and confirms continuity at all outlets.
