Care and Maintenance
Maintenance Check

Ensure all cords are securely routed and connected and show no signs of damage or
wear.
▪
Move the joys�ck through the four quadrants, checking for smooth movement and
return to the center posi�on.
▪
Check all fasteners and �ghten as necessary. Avoid damage caused by over-�ghtening.
▪
Clean all surfaces and disinfect when necessary.
▪
Check for changes in the joys�ck func�on or performance. This can be achieved by
manually tes�ng all the controls or running a diagnos�c through the chair's electronics.
Water Contact
▪
Turn off the chair and disconnect the Mushroom Joys�ck from the chair.
▪
Thoroughly dry the Mushroom Joys�ck with a towel.
▪
Allow 12 hours to dry in a warm dry place to allow any unseen moisture to evaporate.
▪
Check that the Mushroom Joys�ck operates to specifica�ons before use.
▪
If there are changes in the func�on or performance of the joys�ck, contact the dealer.
Cleaning
▪
The joys�ck may be wiped clean with a damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
▪
Ensure all cleaners are approved for finished steel, aluminum, plas�c, and upholstered
surfaces.
▪
Do not immerse in water or rinse with a water hose.
