Demonstrate use:
Take plenty of time to show and demonstrate the folding and unfolding of the shelter. Show
the customer the procedure in the owner’s manual on how to use shelter, follow the procedure
several times to insure the customer knows how to properly use the shelter. Discuss with the
customer to deploy the shelter in plenty of time when weather conditions are likely to produce
severe storms or tornados.
For ballistic shelter use discuss the importance of securing the door from the inside to prevent
being opened from the outside. Also explain the importance of installing the lower side wall
braces, as they shelter the lower gap on the side wall. Explain the importance of rapid
deployment and locking the inside.
