DESCRIPTION OF THE BUTTON FUNCTIONS

The LIMITS and PRESET functions are used in conjunction with the SHIFT/ SET
button. To enable these functions press the SHIFT/ SET button first. The SET icon will
appear on the display, and then press the button for the re-quired function.

ON/OFF

Power button. Press and hold for 4 seconds.

±

Plus/Minus sets the direction (polarity) of the reading

HOLD

Press the

HOLD

button momentarily to capture the reading

on the display. The HOLD icon will be displayed and the
measurement will stay the same on the display. To disable
HOLD, press the button again.

IN/mm

Toggles the display between English or Metric values.

SHIFT/SET

Dual function button used to enable the, Preset and the Limits
(Go/No Go) function. When enabled the SET icon will be
displayed on the display.

ZERO/ABS

Dual Function button. Zero's the display or enables the ABS
mode. To zero the display, Press once and release. Press and
hold for 2 seconds to activate the ABS mode and then press
again quickly to exit the ABS mode.

LIMITS

Sets the Min and Max values for the Go/No Go function. Refer
to the section, "Setting Limits" page 16.

PRESET

Press the

SHIFT/SET

button then press the

PRESET

button to

enable the PRESET function. Refer to the section "Setting the
PRESET Function." page 15.
