EVAPORATOR DRAIN LINE INSTALLATION:
a.
Copper lines must be used for drains.
Plastics are not
acceptable
.
b.
Drain lines must exit the freezer or cooler as quickly as
possible and must have a pitch of at least 1/8” inch/foot
downward or meet the local code requirements.
c.
Drain lines must have individual traps for the cooler and
the freezer and the trap cannot be inside the freezer.
