Crane test
DANGER
When commissioning a hoist a so-called crane test must be performed in accordance with
its original operating instructions. To enable this, the "Crane test" function can be acti-
vated, raising the overload cut-off point.
The "Crane test" function may only be activated for the purpose of this test by a
qualified person in the presence of an authorized crane expert.
The crane runway and the crane bridge are tested with a load of 125%. The "Crane test"
function can be activated to permit this test. After this function has been activated, the
cut-off point is raised to 137.5% maximum working load for 30 minutes (125% + 10%).
Activating "Crane test" function:
Preparations before activating crane test:
•
remove lid with a screwdriver
(hexagon socket, width across flats 2.5)
The "Crane test" function can only be activated when the hoist is at a standstill and has
no overload on the hook. The DIP switches S3 must correspond to the settings shown on
the lid of the casing. The "Crane test" function must be activated within 12 seconds,
following these steps:

After an interval of
1 second
, press button
S5
for more than

seconds
again until the red LED flashes.
If an error should occur while the crane test is being activated, the LED flashes 3
times. After this error signal the crane test function can be activated once again.
Deactivating the crane test function:
The crane test function is deactivated as follows:
•
Reboot the device
•
Press button S5 until the red LED stops flashing.
