3. Displays
Two green LED’s shows a valid DMX512 signal on input A and B.

The 7-segment display represents the different modes. This
happens by numbers, letters and special signs. In combination with
this, the decimal point shows an extended function of a mode.
The another three 7-segment displays on the back serve for the
representation of the extended functions of the different modes and
for the petition of fundamental adjustments.
4. Mode selection
(red number = shown at single display)
The choice of a mode is made by the small, brown pushbutton
which is standing out of the front- & rear panel as far as necessary.
A short push shows the individual modes by a blinking sign in the 7-
segment display.

While blinking the shown mode is still inactive and if no button is
pressed within 5 seconds, the display returns to the previous mode.
But pressing the button for 2 seconds stores the chosen mode, the
display becomes dark and comes back with the new mode.

The outputs 1 and 5 may have a special configuration, see
chapter 5.3.1.
Because of the clarity and compatibility for the earlier instruction
manuals the new functions are described more precisely later in
chapter 5.

Automatic initial choice between input A or B as long as only one
Input has a DMX512 signal. With DMX512 at both inputs, input A
has priority. No output signal without any input signal.
