STACKER 500KS USER GUIDE 7

3.2. Attach the universal filament rail assembly.

Step 1.

Locate the Universal Filament Rail, the two Filament Rail Brackets, and the two Filament

Rail Screws.

Step 2.

Remove the four 5mm x 16mm Socket Head Cap Screws that also secure the plastic wire

harnesses clamps (see photo below). These screws are located on the blue colored corner
brackets. You will reuse these screws to mount the Filament Rail Brackets in the next step. Use the
supplied 3mm hex wrench and an 8mm wrench/socket/pliers (not provided).

Step 3.

Attach the filament rail brackets using the hardware you removed in the prior step. Note the

orientation in the image below. Also, make sure all four screws go back through the wire harness
clamps. Failure to secure the wire harnesses could result in serious damage to your printer during
operation. Repeat the installation on both the right and left sides of the printer.
