7. Connect the DC power socket on the topside box (Figure 3) to the
cigarette lighter-style lead (Figure 4) and plug into a 12 volt DC power
source (if you do not use the supplied lead, please ensure any lead
you use includes a 3 amp fuse. Note, all Squid power connections are
centre pin positive, and use a 5.5 x 2.1 mm barrel connector).
