3. For GoPro 3 and 3+ users, a battery must be installed. For GoPro Hero
4/5/6/7 and Garmin Virb Ultra 30 users, please remove the battery
from your camera.
4. Attach your camera to the tray using the supplied strap (Figure 1).
Slide the tray partially into the Squid housing.

5. Connect the USB cable to the side port of your camera
6. Slide the camera tray along the rails into the Squid, ensuring the WiFi
antenna inside the Squid remains tightly against the right hand side of
the camera (left side as you look at it) (Figure 2). Push the tray until it
is completely inside the housing.
NB: GoPro Hero 5/6/7 is a tight fit due to the new USB-C power
cable. For best installation, slowly slide the tray into the housing,
adjusting the position of the GoPro as required to ensure the tray
and camera are fully installed. Usually a slight push on the left hand
side of the camera (right hand side as you look at it) is required to
realign it as the USB-C cable makes contact with the Squid housing.
