SAFETY AND GENERAL CARE
For your safety and care of your camera system:

Do not leave the lens sealed on the Squid for any longer than the
days use, otherwise it becomes very difficult to remove.

Ensure that the topside box, power source and Squid internals remain
dry at all times.

For very deep water or in strong currents, additional weight can be
added to the Squid.
 Do not attempt to disassemble any part of the Squid system.

The exterior of the Squid body and cable should be thoroughly rinsed
in freshwater after use, avoiding any water near the topside box, and
power/video connectors. Keep the Squid sealed to prevent any water
getting inside. Allow to dry in a shaded area and once dried, store
with the lens and o-ring removed in a cool location, away from direct
sunlight.

If the lens becomes dirty, it can be cleaned with warm, soapy water.
Do not use cloths, tissues, or sponges.

Maintain a bend radius in the cable of at least 15 cm (ie a complete
loop of cable is 30 cm diameter), similar to the coil present when
supplied.
