2.8.1 Language Selection
You can set the display to one of a variety of languages. Select the
Language
option and use the
rotary/push button to select the language you want.
2.8.2 Contrast
Use the
Contrast
option to adjust the contrast of the display.
2.8.3 Key Beep
Use this option to turn the key beep on or off.
2.8.4 Sound Level
Use this option to set the volume for the acoustical signal.
2.8.5 Acoustic Signal
Use this option to turn the acoustic signal you can hear at the end of a repose time on or off.
2.9 Decommissioning and Disposal
At the end of its useful service life, the following information should be taken into account when disposing
of the "fitvibe medical Pro" unit:

Bring the unit together with all accessories to a specialist waste disposal company, which deals with
electronic goods or one which can forward the unit to such a company. In regions where suppliers
are legally obliged to dispose of their products, you can, of course return the unit to your local
supplier.

This type of product is generally prohibited from being disposed of as ordinary household refuse
because of the plastics and electronic components used during manufacture. If you decide to dispose
of the unit yourself, please bear the following environmental information in mind:
The "fitvibe medical Pro" vibration unit and its components can be classified as follows:
•
The vibration plate, control panel, cable, straps and soft mats are categorized as electronic scrap
or small chemical waste. These components contain, among other things, lead, zinc, copper,
iron, various other metals and various types of plastics. In the majority of cases, this waste is
treated as chemical waste and must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations that
apply to your area.
•
Packaging materials and manuals are recyclable. This material can be brought to an appropriate
recycling centre or disposed of in household refuse depending on the waste disposal regulations
in your area.
The disposal methods described here also apply when disposing of the unit’s accessories.
