• Check the product regularly for wear or damage, and have any problems fixed by a
professional immediately. If any defects become evident within the warranty period,
please have your proof of purchase ready.
• The components beneath the motor cover are maintenance-free.
• Unplug the unit before maintenance, and before you clean or open it.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents to clean the unit. Use a slightly damp
cloth to remove and filth and dust.
• Make sure that no liquids enter the unit interior or the computer as this can cause
malfunction.
• Check all screws, joints and wear and tear parts regularly for damage to guarantee
the safety of the product.
• Check all screw connections regularly and tighten them if necessary. Also check the
treadmill belt regularly for damage and replace it if necessary.
• Remove all traces of perspiration with a moist cloth from the treadmill's painted
surfaces after training.
LUBRICATING THE TREADMILL
• The treadmill requires no maintenance except for regular lubrication of its underside.
This guarantees a long service life and optimal performance.
• Delivery includes 20 ml of silicone oil, which will last for approx. 600 hours of
operation. Store the silicone oil in a dark place. Make sure that the silicone oil is not
swallowed, especially by children.
• IMPORTANT: Observe the following instructions on lubrication at all costs! If the
treadmill belt is not sufficiently lubricated, friction may generate heat on the treadmill
which can lead to skin injuries!
WHEN SHOULD I LUBRICATE?
• If you use the treadmill at normal walking speed most of the time, you will need to
lubricate it infrequently. The following guide provides with an overview of the average
intervals in which the belt should be lubricated.
• Apply one packet/can of lubricant after the first 25 hours of operation (2 to 3
months).
• After each further 50 hours of operation (4 to 7 months), apply another packet/can of
lubricant.
• Note: Products like silicone spray can be purchased at a specialty shop and used as
a lubricant.
• The correct amount of lubricant varies from case to case, and thus cannot be listed
here. You will need to apply lubricant at your own discretion on a case-by-case
basis.
