SWITCH-ON/START RECORDING
Press multi-functions-key once. The RED LED will start flashing rapidly, meaning that recording is now starting.
PAUSE/SHOOTING PHOTOS
While Recording, briefly press the multi-functions-key. The fix RED LED signals that the video-camera is pausing. Now press the
multi-functions-key again, to shoot a photo.
RE-ACTIVATE RECORDING/SWITCH-OFF
While in PAUSE, you can re-activate REORDING, by keeping the multi-functions-key pressed for 3 seconds. The RED LED will
start flashing again. To switch-off the video-camera, press the multi-functions-key once (for PAUSE), and then again, keeping
pressed for 6 seconds.
AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF
The video-camera will spontaneously switch-off, in the following two cases: when battery-charge is reduced to 5%; when SD-
CARD-memory is exhausted.
FILES-REGISTRATION ON PC
Minimum System-Conditions:
• CPU 500 Mhz or more.
• Operative System WIN 2000 / XP / VISTA / WIN 7.
• USB-port
• Minimum free space on HD: 1 GB
• RAM 512 MB or more.
Connect the USB-cable to the PC, with VM295 in switch-off position. Now switch-on VM295 and wait for some seconds.
The icon of the removable HD will appear on the screen and be named with a Letter (PC-dependent).
The recorded Films will be memorized on the following directory: Disco\DCIM\100DSCIM.
You can COPY, CANCEL, SAVE the files exactly like you do with a normal USB-key.
Once the COPY/CANCEL-operations are completed, remove the VM295 from the operative system, in due respect of the
security-procedures. Now switch-off the VM295, by keeping pressed for at least 2 seconds. Then lift cable from the USB-port.
RESET-FUNCTION
The RESET-function is situated next to the USB-port, below one of the eyewear-arms. Touch the RESET-function with a pointed
object and keep pressed for at least 2 seconds. The VM295 is herewith reactivated and the recordings will not be cancelled.
CURRENT-SUPPLY and INTERNAL BATTERY-RECHARGE
Recharge battery for at least 8 hours, for the first three times. In any case, do NOT exceed 12 hours’ charging-time. When RED
LED is lighted, battery-recharge is taking place. The VM295 can also be recharged by means of the delivered USB-cable. Starting
from the 4th re-charge, 2hours’ charging-time will be sufficient. During re-charge, keep device switched-off.
Do NOT use non-specific re-charge-devices but only the one supplied with the VM295.
