Oil Storage

Lubricants should always be stored so that children do not have access to them.
Never store the lubricant in open or unlabeled containers.

HANDLING OIL AND LUBRICANTS

ATTENTION

The hydraulic oil temperature will be high right after the engine stops. Wait until it has cooled down
before starting maintenance.

Used oil

The following precautions should be taken when handling used engine oil in order to protect your health:

•

Avoid prolonged, excessive or repeated skin contact with used oil

•

Lubricate your hands with a protective cream before handling these oils.

•

Observe the following guidelines when removing oil from the skin:

o

Wash your skin thoroughly with soap and water

o

It is useful to use a nail brush

o

Use special hand cleaners to clean them properly (Avoid using gasoline, diesel or paraffin on the skin)

FIRST AID

– OIL

Eyes

If you get oil in your eyes, it should be washed with water for about 15 minutes. If irritation persists afterwards, seek
medical attention.

Ingestion

If you accidentally swallow oil, do not try to induce vomiting. Check with your doctor.

Oil spill

Allow spilled oil to soak into sand or absorbent granules that are allowed in the area. The stains should then be
scraped off and disposed in an appropriate waste container or landfill.

Fire

Do not use water to extinguish an oil fire. This would only spread the fire, as the oil floats on water. Extinguish
burning oil and lubricants with carbon dioxide powder or foam extinguishing agents.

8.2  MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

To ensure the long life of your mower, it is essential to perform regular maintenance. The maintenance schedule
below informs about the actions and intervals.

Perform service tasks at intervals of:

o

Hours worked

o

Calendar equivalents

Whichever occurs first

.

ATTENTION

If the mower operates in difficult conditions (high temperature, dust, water, etc.), shorten the intervals.

Maintenance intervals must not be exceeded. If any faults are detected during maintenance, rectify them
before working with the mower.
