Exhaust pipe
The discharge opening of the exhaust pipe must not point in the direc-
tion of travel.
The exhaust pipe discharge opening must be so located that any clog-
ging caused by snow or mud is not to be expected.
Rigid pipes made of unalloyed or alloyed steel with a minimum wall
thickness of 1.0 mm, or flexible tubes of alloyed steel are to be used.
The exhaust pipe is to be secured to the heater, e.g. by means of a
clamp. For further requirements see statutory regulations.
Permissible dimensions of the exhaust pipe Thermo E 200:
– Internal diameter: 70mm
– Max. permissible pipe length: 0.60 m without combustion air intake
extension
– Total length of combustion air intake line and exhaust pipe
max. 2.10 m
ATTENTION!
– The exhaust pipe opening must be directed exclusively per-
pendicularly downwards. A sidewards directed exhaust pipe
opening is not permitted.
Permissible dimensions of the exhaust pipe Thermo E 320:
– Internal diameter: 70mm
– Max. permissible pipe length: 5 m without combustion air intake ex-
tension
– Total length of combustion air intake line and exhaust pipe max. 5 m
Max. permissible bends: summarized 270° (kink-free)
ATTENTION!
If the exhaust pipe is routed in close proximity to temperature-
sensitive parts, it needs to be insulated!
