SCREEN 2 (Setup Screen A): Controls various instrument settings:
o
MAIN BUTTON:
Touch MAIN to return to Screen #1 (Main Screen).
o
NEXT BUTTON:
Touch NEXT to continue on to Screen #3 (Setup Screen B).
o
FOREOPTIC BUTTON:
Touch FOREOPTIC until the foreoptic that is currently installed on the instrument
appears – 4 degree lens, fiber optic, etc.
o
TRIGGER BUTTON:
Touch TRIGGER to control the action performed when the LASER/SCAN trigger
button is pressed:
LASER ONLY Laser is lit while the trigger is pressed.
LASER + SCAN Laser is lit while the trigger is pressed; in
addition, a stand-alone scan is acquired when
the trigger is released.
SCAN ONLY A stand-alone scan is acquired when the trigger
is released
o
SCANTIME BUTTONS:
Touch the < or > button to decrease or increase the instrument scan time.
o
STORED SCANS BUTTONS:
•
Touch the < button to remove just the most recently acquired stand-alone scan.
•
Touch the ERASE ALL button to permanently remove all internal stored scans; once
this button is pressed, a confirmation button will appear before the scans are actually
removed from memory.
